Afternoon
12pm - Grand Welcome
Mr Terry Pratchett, Man of Words, Chief Scout and The Big Hat warmly welcomed Discworld Scouts and visitors to the first ever Discworld Jamboree 2007, Scouting for Trolls Event.
Fellow scouts, Bernard Pearson, Stephen Briggs provided personal escort for The Founder and stood proudly beside him as The Discworld Scouts Standard was raised and tunefully joined voices with him to sing The Ankh-Morpork National anthem accompanied by music from The South West Camerata.
The first round of Clacks Building commenced together with Paint Your Own, Cast A Digit etc.
Evening
A new Magic Show by Lupine and a general Sing Song for jolly campers.
Saturday
Morning
The Wessex Morris Men performed a Stick and Bucket dance (among other things). Later on, there was a Re-enactment of Koom Valley. Troll and Dwarf Patrols were closely monitored during this event and all Assassin contracts suspended to ensure that the re-enactment remained historically accurate.
Afternoon
The afternoon's events included "Leech Wrangling & Igor Surgery for Beginners", "Rune Craft" and "Agatean Arts".Evening
The Grand Masquerade followed by The Gang Show Entertainment by Scouters, for Scouters.
Late
The Campfire Tales, from The Man Himself
Sunday
Morning
10pm: The Grand Jamboree Sports Day including:
- The Assassin's Survival course
- Synchronised swimming exhibition by the Mother's Institute,
- Sack races,
- Egg & Spoon races
and many more opportunities to exhibit your sporting prowess and make an absolute exhibition of your self.
The Church of Om also held an open air service (assorted deities) for the more religously minded.
11pm: The Witch Trials
Afternoon
Grand Charity Auction followed by The Prize Giving and The Grand Goodbye.
